Stuff

Here's some Sketchbook pages and also a couple of panels featuring the really cool Sno-Cat model Andrew made for me.

Again, beautiful figure drawing, Dylan. But c'mon, Artdroid, spill the beans! Are these drawings sketched from live models, photo referenced or even Poser assisted? If you tell me you just pull these perfect sketches straight out of your head, I may well go and throw myself into the river. The sno-cat panels are jaw-droppingly good as well. I wonder how much Mr. Glazebrook would charge if he made me a detailed model of Mega City One?

Cheers Cliff! All out of my head, just look at some of the tiny heads and long arms that I keep doing at the mo. I was looking at a Gil Elvgren book for inspiration for the face on the left on the 3rd orange page. I've been going life drawing once a week for about 5 years now and I think that has helped me loads still seize up though when it comes to the real pages.

I'm with Cliff on both points. Really excellent work Dylan, a pleasure to see, and while Mr. Glazebrook is at it he can do me one too!

Hi Dylan, very cool stuff, I like especially the two orange sheets with all those beautiful ladies. Also, terrific realistic inks in the sno-cat panels.

Cheers Dave, Matt and Roberto!

Nice life drawing, and I really like the lighting effects on the top panel, how did you achieve the splatter effect?

Thanks Lee. Started off with a bit of dry brush but it's mostly a splattery airbrush in photoshop.
