I never get tired of looking at your sketchbook pages. Those are some great expressions on the last one.

I'll second that.
Thanks again for posting these...lovely stuff. And that last post panel is beautifully balanced...I'd go so far as to say it's bloody perfect!

Great to see your mind at play, experimenting. Are there some nascent story ideas coming through? The kid with the helmet in the second page and his little friend are excellent. And an intriguing bald dude too!

Thanks for the cool comments everyone! Going through a "can't ink for shit" bit at the mo. I'm blaming crappy ink, brushes and paper, cos they're all doing my head in AHHHHHHH!! I really wish I could find some kind of tool that was exactly like a pencil but ink.

Dave Taylor seems to just pencil, which he scans into Photoshop and diddles about with to make into inks. That's a thought...

All superb stuff !! You must have shelves full of these sketchbooks by now ! :)

Funny you should say that Alan cos I'm doing my latest job in ink!

You're not alone Dylan...I hate inking too, but sometimes you've just got to bite the bullet. I thought I'd found the perfect pen (Pilot fineliner)but after inking five pages with it I'm finding it not that bloomin perfect after all. Aagh!

Lovely sketches as always Dylan - I'm a big fan of packed sketchbook pages and yours are packed with quality stuff. The kids in the final page are just brilliant!
