Phew that wasn't too difficult. Anyway there are a few links there to be going on with. The Sean Phillips one is especially good check out how fast he works and how good the stuff looks. PJ's blog is also worth a look, I've been checking it out for years now and it's a really good insight to the way he works.
New Cover
Here's my new 2000ad cover in b+w and colour. I think I prefer it in it's b+w state as the contrast seemed a bit better. I'm going to try and sort out some links to other blogs soon as there are some really cool ones out there at the mo .

Space Judges
Here's a cover I've done for the next Extreme edition from 2000ad.
I was trying for a new simplified style, leaving out hatching and heavy blacks, and trying to do more of the work in the colouring. It was supposed to speed me up but ended up taking just as long, if not longer, than usual. To make up for the lack of hatching I went a bit mad on all the detail, fun tho. I had a bit of fun with the costumes too I tweaked them a bit to make them a little more up to date, hope it worked.

New 2000ad cover
Here's my latest cover for 2000ad, not sure I like the drawing that much but I'm quite pleased with the colour scheme. My Jonah hex issue should be out in early June.

Update!
Here's a cover I've done for 2000AD should be out in a couple of weeks. It was fun to do as it reminded me of a character I co-created for 2000AD a while ago called Rose O'Rion. Quite pleased with the colours except when I printed it out it looked a bit pale hopefully it'll look alright on the cover. The background was alot of fun to design, if a little difficult trying to work out the circles in perspective. I'm penciling a strip at the mo and remembering how bloody difficult that is, I'll stick some stuff up when I can.

Dredd Cover
I had a great time doing this once I got my head around drawing all the figures. I stuck in a lot of my fave Dredd characters. I'm quite pleased with how it came out. I went for a classic feel to the covers trying to use the colours Bplland used to for Dredd's outfit, going for a blue suit and shiny gold shoulder pads with quite a saturated red for the helmet too. It's been chopped about a bit on the actual cover, Dredd's lost his feet, but the new look of the Meg is quite cool.

A couple of pages
Here's a couple of pages I did just incase I forget how to draw comic strips. I've tried using a lot more textures than I usually use.

Quite pleased with how the Spidey colours are turning out John Royle seems to like them too.
I'm trying to use stronger colours than usual as the comic is aimed at kids, I'll stick up some more soon

Cool!
It worked! That was a cover I've just done with John Royle for the Spectacular Spiderman Magazine, I've inked the strip for the interior over John too, now I've just got to pull my finger out and colour it.

Hi
Thought I might as well go ahead and get my own blog as so many people seem to have one nowadays.
I'm a freelance artist based in the UK and , as much as possible, I like to concentrate on comics related work.
I'm working on colouring at the moment for the Doctor Who Magazine, inking Spiderman for Rampage and have just finished a pic fo Men's Health magazine.
